Little Glee Monster’s MAYU to resume activities after diagnosed with functional voice disorder

Little Glee Monster has announced that member MAYU will resume activities after revealing she has been diagnosed with functional voice disorder.

According to the group’s official statement, MAYU had been experiencing difficulty using her voice as intended and was later diagnosed with the condition. She is continuing treatment and rehabilitation under the guidance of her doctors and vocal trainers, and will resume activities while continuing her recovery.

In a message to fans, MAYU shared that she has been living with the condition for nearly 10 years. “I truly love singing,” she wrote. “I want to continue singing for as long as I can while facing this voice disorder.

The group also gave an update on Yumi, who had been on partial hiatus due to health issues. She has gradually begun returning to activities with lighter physical demands, though she will miss some upcoming live events as she continues to recover.

MAYU had temporarily suspended activities after becoming unwell during the group’s single release event on July 10, while Yumi later missed several appearances due to health concerns.
