JAL plane crash victims mourned 41 years after accident
Bereaved family members and others mourned on Wednesday the victims of the 1985 crash of a Japan Airlines jumbo jet on a mountain in Gunma Prefecture.
They went on a memorial hike to the Osutaka Ridge in the village of Ueno — the site of the crash 41 years ago that claimed 520 lives.
The hikers prayed for the deceased in front of memorial markers scattered along the trail.
