India-Pakistan Conflict: J&K Leader Visits Border Troops; Issues Stern Warning: “We Will Hunt You Down”
In a bold move reflective of India’s current military posture, Jammu & Kashmir’s Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha visited the volatile Baramulla and Uri sectors along the India-Pakistan border. His visit comes as Pakistan increases aggression along the LoC.
“It is a proud privilege to stand with our troops,” said Sinha, calling them the Bravest of the Brave. During the interaction, he raised the iconic rallying cry: “How is the josh?” to which the soldiers roared in response, “High!”
The Indian leader praised the army’s resilience and discipline, declaring: “We are determined to destroy the enemy and their capability to harm our people.”
Sinha warned that any attempt to harm Indian citizens would be met with lethal force: “If you inflict injury on any Indian citizen, we will hunt you down.”
He added that peace is a non-negotiable foundation for development, and that India’s armed forces are committed to ensuring that peace through strength.
Lieutenant Governor Sinha’s visit to Uri serves as a morale booster for the Indian troops stationed in this volatile region. Jammu and Kashmir has been the epicenter of the Indo-PAK tensions, where heavy shelling and drone attacks have been taking place. Pakistan’s unprovoked shelling and attacks was responded with swiftness by the Indian forces.
These tensions between the two nuclear power nations follow India’s launch of Operation Sindoor — a series of focused and precise strikes on nine terror camps located in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK) — in response to the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam that killed 26 people.
