Man arrested after walking naked into convenience store in Kochi
Police in Kochi City, Kochi Prefecture, have arrested a 28-year-old unemployed man for public indecency after he walked into a convenience store completely naked.
The incident occurred early Wednesday morning, broadcaster TBS reported. Shortly before 2 a.m., police received a call from a passerby reporting that a naked man was walking along a street.
Police searched for the man and at around 4 a.m., they received a call from a convenience store employee, saying that a naked man had walked into the store and then left.
Police found the man, Reo Kubo, in the store parking lot and arrested him.
Police quoted Kubo as saying he just felt like walking naked and that he had done so before. Kubo was not drunk at the time, police said.
